You will be responsible for the efficient operation of your tram, delivering safe and punctual services in compliance with our timetables and conducting Customer Service Representative (CSR) duties as required.

 

Role Requirements;

When driving, you will be providing an excellent, smooth running service for a wide variety of customers.  You will require excellent concentration skills as you will be operating a tram that is in service both through pedestrianised streets as well as landscaped areas.  You would be expected to report all health, safety and anti social behaviour issues to ensure a safe environment for the continuous operation.  You will also provide support to the Control Room and CSR teams.

When conducting CSR duties, you will be providing excellent customer care to all customers including selling tickets via cash and card transactions, checking the validity of tickets and passes and generally assisting customers with their journey.  You will be expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of the Metro system as well as being able to effectively deal with challenging customers and conflict.

 

Experience Required;

This role would suit someone with excellent concentration skills together with a proven record of good customer care, cash handling and communication skills.  You must be 21 or older and have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.

The successful candidate must be happy to work shifts and has the means to be able to start work from the Metro Centre in Wednesbury at any time of the day (please note this role operates on a shift rota basis with early shifts beginning at 04.30, and lates finishing at 00.30).
