NXMM40 - Customer Service Representative

You will be responsible for the excellent front-line service to all customers of your tram, ensuring all customers have a satisfactory journey with Midland Metro.
You will be providing excellent customer care to all customers including selling tickets via cash and card transactions, checking the validity of tickets and passes; and generally assisting customers with their journey. At the end of each shift, you would be responsible for reconciling all revenue with the tickets sold and ‘banking’ the money as per Company procedures.
You will be expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of the Metro system and all types of Metro products and discount passes, as well as being able to effectively deal with challenging customers and conflict.
You would be expected to report all health, safety and anti social behaviour issues to ensure a safe environment for all staff and customers.
This role would suit someone with excellent attention to detail skills together with a proven record of good customer care, cash handling and communication skills.
The successful candidate must be happy to work shifts and has the means to be able to start work from the Metro Centre in Wednesbury at any time of the day (please note this role operates on a shift rota basis with early shifts beginning at 04.30, and lates finishing at 00.30).
